Gadget UPGRADES! Nikon D5000

As of late i've been fiddling with my new gadget for the past month, namely the Nikon D5000, got an additional lens for it to help supplement my use with the stock lens.

had been picking up tips and tricks from fellow friends who also owned DSLRs' too, and now i'm blown away to a whole new level of photography where i could finally adjust my ISO settings specifically, the exposure and whatnots.

DSC_0094

A sample shot with my DSLR. Kudos to those who figure where this picture was taken. or what it is to begin with. =D Drop your answers in the comments section!

Many thanks to Paul Shi once again for his patience and expertise on DSLRs'

=====================
Meanwhile i've gotten started on my Stormtrooper Armor Project which was delayed for a month due to some complications with replacement parts, as some pieces were pretty banged up during shipping and some pre-cut sections were not up to standard. (Trust is a fragile concept on Ebay).
Aside from that minor speed bump, i've managed to find alternatives to those problems and am pretty glad to say that i've completed almost 40 percent of the armor in one day, Kudos to Mr. Kwoh, whose help sped up the process and with whom i couldn't do without.
Pictures of the process as well as detailed shots with my new DSLR will be coming right up!!! However in the meanwhile i'd be looking for ABS CEMENT as some of the hot glue i used isn't exactly durable and i might be stripping down some sections and rebonding it with ABS cement.
Now does anyone know where to find ABS CEMENT? I've tried local hardward stores from d.i.y to homefix to shophouses to no avail. any information would be appreciated!

Hot Toy's Next Licence: 300

a pleasant surprise which greeted me a few days back, and i'm sharing the news now.
Hot Toy's next MMS, movie masterpiece series, would be Zack Snyder's movie adaptation of Frank Miller's 300!
Would be highly interesting to see how it turns out! especially so when these fellow spartans are gonna be baring alot of skin, it'd be a task for Hot Toys to cover up the joints, but with what they've done with previous works like sheva/dutch etc, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for them!
this wait will be highly anticipating, and pardon me if i yowl out the classic tagline for this film....''TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL!!!''

Hilariously Creative Tribute to John Williams and his works

Found this over on youtube. Seriously brilliant tribute to John Williams for his work in Star Wars and all his other famous soundtrack tunes.

Somehow this tribute never fails to make me smile, thinking back on the years growing up on Star Wars, and also reminds me of this acappella group performance which i watched over at Anaheim's Disneyland a few years back.

The A - Team Movie (Official Picture)

ATEAM
Bradley Cooper screams out every inch of the word '' Heat, Kane & Lynch'' in his dressing, but what balances it off is seeing Liam dressed in this rugged manner

You might remember Bradley Cooper in his fantastic performance from the Hangover. And with Liam Neeson to boot, i doubt he needs an introduction. Hell, i think we just got ourselves a film not to miss!

Guns, Mercenaries/ soldier of fortune , Joe Carnahan( director of smokin' aces, pride and glory ), produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, Film's vein will be like that of Die Hard, Bourne Identity and Casino Royal. Hell, this film sure hits all the right buttons!

Hope this film adaptation of the classic TV series does deliver!

Oh did i mention Jessica Biel is in the film too?
