Brothers Production - PMC Mission ( tom cruise headsculpt )

One of the best Tom Cruise headsculpts out there IMHO....with previously accurately sculpted heads eg Daniel Craig's by Loading Toys, it is indeed refreshing to see that other companies are starting to boot up their standards ( to match up Hot Toys' )

so here it is, PMC MISSION- Private miliatry contractor by Brothers Production.

A common agreement between me and Mirrornoob, ''AWESOME intent stare!''

''laptop is vista some more'' - Mirrornoob

I would have to say the outfit, costume and gear isn't exactly impressive or ''fresh'' considering HT does much better...however it is pretty neat to see a laptop displaying a ''vista'' skin for a 1/6th scale.

but the main hype of it all for me would be the Cruise likeness head. Would be attempting to score the headsculpt when it hits CSC.

Green Day's New Album 2009

The new year has never looked so exciting with Green Day's yet to be titled, 2009 spring release album. You can head on to their site to view the new teaser site they've put up for the anticipation for their new album here.

A look of their new site.

Billie Joe Armstrong Recording @ Ocean Way Studio

(same studio where American Idiot was recorded)

=================================

Ever since Green Day went on a tour as Pinhead Gunpowder and Foxborough Hot Tubs, forums have been stirred to life and speculation on the release date of their new album. ( its been 4 years since American Idiot, 2004) And it has been confirmed during the end of october when video footage was leaked and the new site was up. Furthermore an exclusive interview was given to Alternative Press which featured Green Day on their new album and talked about some of the tracks.

=================================

As yet, the little that is known are:

the working titles of the album's three acts are ( Act 1 - Heroes and Cons, Act 2 - Charlatans and Saints, Act 3 - Horseshoes and Handgrenades )

===============================

"Some of it is political, but most of it very much personal. They talk about 7 songs they heard (of 16 the band has). The song "March of the Dogs" is a "religious rant", while the song "21st Century Breakdown" is a bit more personal, but still talking about how the American dream seems to fade away. A “piano-driven love ballad” called “Last Night On Earth” where Billie talks about it being a romantic moment with more between the lines" - GDA

===================================

indeed, 09 is gonna be one helluva of a ride for fellow musicians, rockers, fans alike!

Away till end of friday

It's the christmas MONTH! it's december already. And as you've noticed i haven't been updating on a regular basis and my hauls aren't put up here either.

was pretty busy of late with work and all. But i'd be free on this Friday, till end of holidays.

Anyway the screen above is a screen of my deathcam in HITMAN: blood money. was screwing around in the game taking a break...( i screw around cause' i've completed it on all difficulties already) pretty decent head, heart and stomach shot. awful way to die IMHO....

Cards

Got a decent pack of cards at 4.25....

Many thanks to Minna who taught me how to play Tai-te... Finally i know a card game involving poker cards...

Must add that i was thrashed horribly and beginner's luck somehow didn't kick in at all when i played against her... lost with a score of 5-1.

And yes i do know that Tiong Bahru plaza is far better than Chua Chu Kang's Lot 1 shopper's mall...( but hey, we're upgrading....we might just be BETTER someday...) heh.

Daniel Craig Comic Relief...( a must watch!)

need i say more?

Hot Toys' 12' inch The Spirit & Hellboy lines

Some of the new upcoming figures Hot Toys would be producing. Though i wasn't exactly into The Spirit at first...its slowly growing on me i must say.... the spirit's suit and its make seems pretty decent to me...the trenchcoat and all.

i must add too that Hot Toys indeed are setting a very high bar in which many other toy manufacturers would have a problem to cross over...

pretty evident in their Hellboy lines, where the new muscular bodies, hellboy's arms and body, the attention to the details etc....seem to make it seem so lifelike....

and despite not being so into hellboy or the spirit. i can't help but think how it would be a NICE and AWESOME figure to sit on my shelf...(there goes my money again.)
