Movies not to miss.

When i first heard the title, pride and glory..i didn't pay much attention to it...not even when Colin Farrell's name popped up. But when Edward Norton's name came up...my interest was perked. And after watching the trailer on HD, i'm SOLD. totally.


Perhaps its due to Edward Norton's long standing reputation with quality films with solid character developement, ( fight club, 25th hour, american history X, the score ) -i missed hulk 2-


besides i have and still am a great fan of the dark brooding grittyness of cop/crime dramas, ( the departed, Heat, street kings ) so i will be heading down to cineleisure today...to catch the first screening of this movie, and i'd be back with a review. Hopefully it doesn't dissapoint.

The Stormtrooper Effect: New Banner

With christmas just 12 days around the corner, i did a much delayed shoot of a christmas themed banner, a trooper clinging onto the branches of my christmas tree...

Got a headsup' from KEN's site...this is one of the reasons to live through the year 2009!

and i seriously do hope HOT TOYS do bank on this movie franchise to give us collectors a John Conner 12'inch figure. That would be seriously orgasmic!

had always been a fan of terminator movies since my dad introduced it to me as a child, and i've been following up on t4:salvation but with all the overwhelming tons of great movies and memorabila drowning collectors, the dark knight, ironman, the spirit, james bond etc....i kinda forgot to follow up with T4:S.

Brothers Production - PMC Mission ( tom cruise headsculpt )

One of the best Tom Cruise headsculpts out there IMHO....with previously accurately sculpted heads eg Daniel Craig's by Loading Toys, it is indeed refreshing to see that other companies are starting to boot up their standards ( to match up Hot Toys' )

I would have to say the outfit, costume and gear isn't exactly impressive or ''fresh'' considering HT does much better...however it is pretty neat to see a laptop displaying a ''vista'' skin for a 1/6th scale.

but the main hype of it all for me would be the Cruise likeness head. Would be attempting to score the headsculpt when it hits CSC.

Ever since Green Day went on a tour as Pinhead Gunpowder and Foxborough Hot Tubs, forums have been stirred to life and speculation on the release date of their new album. ( its been 4 years since American Idiot, 2004) And it has been confirmed during the end of october when video footage was leaked and the new site was up. Furthermore an exclusive interview was given to Alternative Press which featured Green Day on their new album and talked about some of the tracks.

the working titles of the album's three acts are ( Act 1 - Heroes and Cons, Act 2 - Charlatans and Saints, Act 3 - Horseshoes and Handgrenades )

"Some of it is political, but most of it very much personal. They talk about 7 songs they heard (of 16 the band has). The song "March of the Dogs" is a "religious rant", while the song "21st Century Breakdown" is a bit more personal, but still talking about how the American dream seems to fade away. A “piano-driven love ballad” called “Last Night On Earth” where Billie talks about it being a romantic moment with more between the lines" - GDA

Away till end of friday

It's the christmas MONTH! it's december already. And as you've noticed i haven't been updating on a regular basis and my hauls aren't put up here either.

was pretty busy of late with work and all. But i'd be free on this Friday, till end of holidays.


Anyway the screen above is a screen of my deathcam in HITMAN: blood money. was screwing around in the game taking a break...( i screw around cause' i've completed it on all difficulties already) pretty decent head, heart and stomach shot. awful way to die IMHO....
